Botox is considered one of the most popular medical aesthetic procedures because botulinum toxin is a highly effective anti-wrinkle agent, but it has more to offer: its special application can smooth the skin's surface, reduce increased sebum production, sweating and pore visibility. The treatment is also known as micro-botox or baby botox.
Unlike traditional botox, mesobotox does not target the mimic muscles, instead a mild version of botulinum toxin is injected into the top layers of the skin. The active ingredient is injected through tiny needle punctures and applied in higher dilutions over a bigger area. This means that we use botox that is 5 to 10 times more diluted for micro-botox.

Procedure
The skin is cleansed, disinfected and numbed prior to the treatment to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. The diluted botox is injected into the upper layers of the skin using extremely thin, small needles. If required, we can add special active ingredients to create a complex cocktail to target your specific skin concern in order to enhance the results. These may include sebum regulators, anti-wrinkle agents, skin firming substances, deep moisturizers, etc.

The treatment is recommended for anyone between 18 and 65 years who has the following problems:
- fine, subtle wrinkles on the face
- increased sebum production
- oily skin
- acne, blackheads
- enlarged pores
- excessive sweating in the areas of the face
The treatment involves the use of a substance called Dysport ( type A botulinum toxin), which is a prescription product authorized by the Medicines and Healthcare Administration. It is completely safe to use under appropriate professional conditions.
The effect of the treatment varies from one person to another, but usually lasts for 3-4 months. Changes are already visible within 3-5 days after treatment, but the full effect of the treatment is complete after 2 weeks. The treatment can be repeated several times a year, but at least 3 months should be left between each treatment.
Minor bruising and redness may appear at the puncture sites after the treatment, but these will disappear on their own within a few days. Avoid blood-thinning products (e.g. alcohol) and avoid wearing make-up for 24 hours. At the end of the treatment, you will receive full instructions on what to do after the treatment.
Mesobotox treatment should not be used in cases of pregnancy, breastfeeding, neurological diseases, active skin infection and febrile illness. Also, the procedure cannot be performed in case of allergy or sensitivity to the active ingredients used.
